1999 daewoo nubria cdx seems to be loosing power no codes come up
I have a 1999 2.0 l nubria about a week ago iafter i got gas from a station the car started to cut out when i stepped in the gas. As the car warms up it does not do it as much but still seems to want to cut out I have replaced coil pack, plugs, vaccum lines & fuel filter any ideas what it could be?

I hv nubira 1999 ...i in problem like when i strat the car nd put in gear it tak a time to catch the speed ....nd start missing ,,,,nd i chek the car coil num 3 start saprking so wht the problem can some on tell how can i fixit.....

sounds like some watered down gas to me... change the filter, add some dry-gas... then turn in the station owner that sold it to ya... if he's from the middle east you can call homeland security too!!!
You can obtain the code from daewoousa. Remove radio and get serial number from radio (white strip with black numbers on radio) Email this to daewoousa and they will email back your 4 digit code. To input code, disconnect the NEGATIVE battery cable, pause, then reconnect. Your radio face will now flash "code" Input the 4 digit code given to you. Radio will play after about 15 seconds.
This is a problem with the "auto throttle control unit" (SilverwolfRA, yes aka - auto choke).
A car computer mechanic downloaded the info. from my 1999 Nubira and then adjusted as necessary. It didn't repair to complete (as new) functionality (as the unit is damaged?), but I'm happy with the result.
Check under the dashboard on the left side for a female connector shaped like a horizontal, flattened 'D.' If it has one (99% certain) then a scanner can be used to learn what codes are set in the car's computer and causing the Check Engine light to trigger.
You can have nearly any repair shop read out and interpret the code for you or, if you like to be independent of hungry mechanics, you can find these on sale for as little as $30 (on sale) which I paid for mine at Harbor Freight.
These are very easy to use and all come with a list of codes (mine has a CD too) that will pinpoint the problem.
If you decide to add one to your complement of tools (well, some of us do), make sure it is OBD II compatible (for your present car) or even CAN capable as this is the newer standard. Each later generation of these is backward compatible.
