I have a Cadillac SRX 2005 3.6L. The problem is that the driver door will not lock w/ the power lock, the driver side rearview wont adjust and the driver side window wont go down. The controls on the driver door work for everything else but the driver door. What the hell is it?

If the sunroof hasn't completed closing or cannot be reset by the BCU the vehicle will assume it is open and will not allow the door locks to activate.

This appears to be a known issue. You need diagnostics with a pro grade scan tool computer. You aren't looking for codes, but data network issues or problems with the BCM. The cheapest option would be an auto electrician or alarm installer.

The heated seat module (MSM) controls heated seat operation for both the driver and passenger seats. There are 2 modes of operation available for heated seats; both the seat cushion and seat back heat, or seat back only heat. When a heated seat temperature signal request is received, the MSM will activate both the seat cushion and seat back heating elements. When the heated seat BACK ONLY mode button is pressed once the MSM will deactivate the seat cushion heating element and leave the seat back heating element ON.
The adjustable pedal system is controlled by the memory seat module (MSM).
your best bet , have a qualified repair shop check it out ! Could have DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in door module , BCM etc...

If it locks when using the manual switch inside the car, the problem is probably your remote. If not, your lock solenoid in the lift gate may need to be replaced.

if its the 3.6 v6 staring from the front of engine passenger side head is 123 driver side head is 456 if its the 4.6 v8 it is front head 2468 and back head is 1357 starting from the left to right

If it's the grey and red lined button, it's the window lock control for power windows around the other doors.

it is probably the lock out switch or if your vehicle is equipped there is a child lockout switch on the door frame, open the door and look at the side of the door where the lock hits the frame and you may see a black button which locks the window control out

you may want to check the fuse for the signals and asfor the locked windows, it sounds like your window lock has either seized or the button is off track. In any case, replacement would be the best option.
