Question about 1999 Nissan Quest
My brake lights stay on after the car is turned off. The lght switch is off.
I had the same problem with my nissan quest 1996, the problem on mine is caused by a broken plastic cushion on brake pedal, there are two switch sensors under brake pedal, they can be easily seen if you poke your head underneath the front driver seat. I temporarily put a good size screw and nut as a cushion, will get a new one to replace this, nissan put a plastic one instead of metal one for less wear on break sensor switch (I think). Hope this will be help for you.
