Question about 1992 Honda Accord
I have a haynes manual,, code 6 was on the computer,, cts,,bought a new cts installed ,,pulled back up fuse to clear computer memory,,light immediately came back on,,rough start again,,tryed disconnecting battery for 30 seconds still light and rough start,,checked voltage at the plug in ,,10volts ,,manual says it should be 5 volts,,and new sensor checked resistance ,,none ,,checked old sensor ,,no resistance until heated and it was sporatic reading when hot,, kind of at a loss here about where to go with this ,,maybe return wire not sending voltage back to computer or is "new" sensor bad also????????
Did you disconnect the neg. battery terminal before changing the sensor? I'm wondering if somehow the new one was damaged by a voltage surge? Can't be of any more help than that! Good luck!
