Question about 1990 Isuzu Trooper
1990 izuzu trooper is running hot and releasing pressure under the electronic fuel injection system, but i cant find out where exactly it is coming from and it only releases the pressure when it idles high.
Follow the top radiator hose, to the housing on the engine. That's the thermostat, it is actually 2 housing bolted together. remove the 2 bolts, and pull up on the housing. Flip it over and check the gasket. If it's bad, it will leak coolant all over the injectors.

The fuel filters on injected engines are a metal cylinder which is located in the rear frame rail or in the engine compartment. You may find it under the injection manifold on some models. Each model varies.
