My 2002 tls has a wobble in the front as well, I have replaced every part possible ( upper control arms, engine mounts, half shaft, tires, rims so on and so on. The wobble happens at about 40km, 70 its bad, 90 it is almost gone. now the wierd thing is that it only happens under acceloration. Im on my 5th trany as of 10000 km ago. you have any ideas?

    Thanks Tyler

If possible, take the vehicle to a parts store, somewhere where they can check the OBD-II code for free. That will help narrow down what might be causing the shaking.

Without any information on what DTC (diagnostic trouble code), my best guess is that your engine is misfiring. Which would cause a vibration at idle or while driving. A common misfire problem on 3.2 TL's and CL's is a bad ignition coil.

If you have a misfire DTC stored, that it is where I would start.

I think it's a bad ignition coil. u should take ur car to mechanic and have him check to see if ur car is misfiring.

1998 ram shakes at low rpm's (1100-1700) at around 40 mph, but the wheel or steering doesnt shake, its the truck itself shaking. It's not as bad when i get up to 50mph. The check engine light

Start by checking the tie rod ends on both sides on the front wheels..With the truck jacked up and jack stands underneath the frame both left and right wheels should be suspended in mid air..The are two tie rod ends on each side of the vehicle, a inside and outside tie rod..Check for any excessive place on each one...
Also ckeck the balance on all four tire's... Inspect the wheels for any stress cracks that would cause them to not to balance correctly and make your vehicle shake...
Check the transmission mounts on the cross member, make sure the mount is secure to the Trans and cross member mount..Also check both u-joints on the drive shaft and any hanger bearings that may be underneath there..If it's a 4 wheel drive check both drive shaft's...Anyone of these option's could show those
symtom's you mentioned...Good luck and let me know how it works out..

Front end shakes

Hi Steve, It would help to know if the shaking begins at a certain speed or is it there all the time? If the shaking is transmitted via the steering and comes at a particular speed and disappears once that speed has been passed the problem is most likely with the wheels being out of balance, or you have a buckled rim. If the problem is at all speeds, have the front end checked, meaning rack ends, tie rod ends, ball joints, suspension bushes and anti roll bar bushings. Also check for damage on the sub frame and engine mountings. Regards John

My front end shakes sometimes over 55mph

There could be multiple possibilities to why this is happening. If by front end you mean your bumper, check the connection that connect the bumper to the frame. If you are missing some bolts, it will definately change the way your vehical drives. Your suspension may also be shot. Your car if fairly old, so that is not too unlikely. You may be in need of new shocks. I would also check your tires. If your tires are worn and lopsided, it will shake at high speeds as well. I hope this helps!

95 buick century, where is the starter? car randomly wont start

Hello , Is the car a V6 engine? If so it is located in the front lower portion of the engine under or very close to the front ex manifold. How do you know that it is the starter ? What are the problems that its having? Do you have lights ? If you have lights , do they completly go out or severly dim when you try to start the vehical while they are on? Also really check the battery connections very , make sure they are clean and tight. Thank you , Quinn Texada.
