p1248 is in the same error codes as the rest now i have been a mechanic for plenty of years and i will tell you it will be the glow plugs they have a certin limit to glow to start the car if they are worn or nearly gone they wont hold all the fire in them ,,,,Injection start control deviation means the car is not getting even to kick start it it maitanes and shuts the engine down if there is a problem i suggest you changed the plugs and see how you go here is a link to see http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/5778852/description.html

Turn key on to start engine glow plug light does not come on engine will turnover but will not start

the glow plugs operate when you open/close the door,so very rarely come on.try opening door, get in,close door then start before anything else.

If you're car has been running fine, then suddenly won't start, the cause is frequently that the fuel pump cutoff has been tripped. Open your trunk, and look for a label for a fuel pump cutoff switch. Locate the switch, press it in, and see if the engine will start.

Glow plugs stay and wont shut off

Your problem sounds like the glow plug relay is faulty. It sees to be stuck in the closed position. It is mounted on the fuse board.
