I have the same problem. I tried calling Honda directly and in order for them to give me the code I have to give them the serial number of the radio and fill out the form with my contact information and VIN plus the serial number so they can release the code, there is also a fee included. Good luck

Radio code

Clean out your glove box.

Use a flashlight and look for a 5 digits sticker one the left side of the glove box (CLOSER to the radio) or under the truck.

Enter the code with KEY ON (not starting engine) position.

Write this number down on the owner's manual for future reference.

I got my battery changed....the radio doesn't turn on now....it doesnt say error for me to put the code in....I changed the fuse...1998 honda crv

It may be an antitheft radio, if you don't know how to fix it, call a dealership, maybe even take it there and ask, if it is a factory radio. If you have a code, just put it in to see if it works. If it is an aftermarket radio, there are sites on the web that you should be able to find to reset it. Google is your friend.

Got new battery for Honda Civic, radio shows "Enter C"? Help Plz!

Options you have:

1 - Check your owners manual. Sometimes the code is written in there. It is a security code that locks the radio and renders it useless unless you enter the code to thwart thieves.

2 - Call Honda at 1-800-999-1009 and go to option #5.
The representative will ask you for your VIN # and some personal info like phone #, address and radio serial # (press 1, 6 and "on" button on your radio at the same time, record 10 digit code). They then proceeded to have you get in your car to try different codes.

3. You can got to this site https://radio-navicode.honda.com/ to enter the vin - but you will have to prove you own the car.

Hope this helps!

check in drivers door jam , glove box there should be a little sticker somewhere there with a 5 didgit code that will be youre code or in with youre owners stuff, once you try putting the wrong code in three times it will show error then you will need to disfconnect the - battery cable to try again, if you fcant find the code you will need to take to dealer and ask them for it they should have it if not you will need the serial number off the radio and they can get it with that

Looking for 96 Honda Civic Radio Code

You just have to go to a dealer and get one, they shouldn't charge you for it. Every time the battery is unhooked the stereo will need the code again, so try and get them to give it to you and not just put it in for you.
