Question about 1994 Ford F150 Styleside Supercab

Truck wll hesitate and then die

I have a 94 ford f150 it was runnin great till i let one of my friends in auto tech do a compression test on it and right after i got it back and put it in gear to leave it hesitated and died on me. and on the way home it died three more times. the next day it also did it again.

Id say he accidently disconnected a vacume line ou there is a loose connection. Another possibility is that a plug or wire got damaged durring the removel, when removing ploug wires it is important to grab only by the boot I suggest starting with \
check vacume lines then remove wires one at a time and inspect to see if contacr is visible in boot and not damaged. Next would be to inspect plug gap and for cracked ceramic on all parts ot plug.

My 95 ford f150 runs great till it warms up it seems then the fuel pump looses power n shuts down wait few mins kicks back on runs fine till few min later


Sounds like your ignition module it is common on fords to do this when its cool it will start and run fine but once it heats up the truck dies until you let it cool down again and then your up and running till it heats up again. Some modules are mounted on the fender others are mounted with the distributor have it checked and let me know how it went.

ok check the coil or ignition pick up coil in combination with the fuel pump

I have 94 e250 5.8L van 4x4 and it won't turn over


Hi Nick:
You wll have to pinpoint what the engine is missing...
- Spark
- Fuel
- Compression

All three of these are tested when the engine is being cranked over. There are two way of checking for fuel. Fuel pressure and fuel trigger. Both are very important and must be present for the engine to start. Fuel pressure is self explanatory. You just hook up the gage and see what the reading is. Fuel trigger is check with a noid light. The injector gets unplugged and the noid light gets plugged in to the injector clip. With the engine cranking over, this light must blink. This is the signal to the injectors from the computer. You can have all the fuel pressure in the world, but it wont matter if the injector is not pulsing gas into the cylinder like it should.

Compression tester, spark tester, fuel pressure gage and noid light are all accessible at your local auto store. All three tests play a very important part in diagnosing a no start condition. Be extremely careful when doing these tests.

89 gmc f150 v6 chugging out like its gona die


F150 is a Ford model truck, not GMC.
But at any rate, since I don't know if you have a Ford F150 of some kind, a 87 GMC S15 or some kind of 89 GMC with a V6 I will suggest taking the ignition module to an Auto Zone and having them test it (A free service). Also test the fuel pressure.
If a tune up and fuel filter has not been done in some time that could very well be an issue.

probably a throttle position sensor or a fuel pressure problem,try replacing the throttle position sensor, filter and/or the pump

At startup my 94' F150 will oscillate from high to low idle


I had this problem once on an econoline van and it was the plantum gasket but before you change this check all the vacuum lines and get a digital volt meter and test the voltages on the mass air flow sensor and if you have to change the plantum gasket auto zone can print you out a diagram stating all you have to remove to replace it
