There are two of them, they are screwed into the engine blocks cooling water jacket (where the drain plugs would have gone for the block without sensors) below the spark plugs and cylinder heads on the front and rear of the engine. See picture below. One note knock sensors seldom fail, also if you do replace it it must be carefully torqued to the proper spec (12 foot lbs I think) or it will not work correctly and that can trigger a fault code once again.

Important: The larger metal contact area of the knock sensor MUST be toward the engine block. DTC P0327 may result if the sensor is installed backwards.
