Try to jump the fan out. and wire it direct. The temp switch might be bad, and not kicking the fan in??? Also have you changed to theromatic out, It might be stuck???

The fan should come on with the A/C. You can, if you are able, wire the fan to the battery to see if it works.

My 2003 Hyundai Matrix appears to be overheating but cools down when the internal heating system is turned on full. Is this the water pump failing?

not sure here without getting it hot and running my hands over the rad to see if its hot around the edges and cool in the centre where the fan is as this will signify a chocked up radiator but if its cooling with the heater on full blow then i would suspect a cooling fan fault ,as a water pump plastic impeller fault would not push the water through the heater matrix ,Also i dont think this vehicle has the plastic impeller but a metal one if my memory serves me correctly ,check the cooling fan electrics as iam sure this is a temperature switch fault

Hyundai accent overheating

Overheating can be Because of
1. Bad or No Fluid in Radiator 2. A damage in Radiator / Radiator Fan 3. Chocked air filter 4. bad Quality Lubrication
Make sure your Radiator fluid is filled . make sure Radiator belt is ok and Radiator Fan running well . always use Good Quality Gas . Renew air filter regularly . Check Lube oil Quality.
My Solution above is not a definite advice until it is Physically inspected .

Why is my 1998 hyundai accent overheating?

The head gasket has gone so pressure builds up in the cooling system and forces water out of the overflow

You need someone to take the head off , skim it and fit a new gasket

2005 santa fe overheating while in idle after about 20 min.

The radiator cooling fans are not coming on for some reason...It is probably a fuse...check all of your fuses...there should be a fuse that just runs the cooling fans...look around the drivers side near the hood release for the fuse box

Hyundai Accent 2000 overheating

If the water bubbles in the resevoir when the engine is running, the head gasket could be blown. There is often white smoke (steam) coming from the exhaust.
