Question about 2002 Volvo S60

1 Answer

Volvo s60 I am confused, I want to renew the bushes in my drop arms (links) but I have been told that because my volvo S60 SE T is a 2002 the bushes are not replaceable, I have also been told that they are, if so where do I get the bushes from, Volvo told me they do not do them. Can some one give me a definitive answer.

I have the same problem with my S60. I have since found that some of the problems is caused by the accelerator pedal sending confusing signals to the ECU. I am in the process of replacing the pedal and rheostat assembly to see what improvement there is.
I recently spoke to the only technician that seems to know about this problem. When I told him about the gauges dropping and in my car the headlights come on and I cannot open the windows he immediately knew what the problem was. He asked my if I fitted a bluetooth device to the car, which I have. I fitted a bluetooth car kit some time ago. He said he had the same problem with another car and after removing the car kit the problem was solved. I have done a lot of research on this problem and you are welcome to contact me for more information at wvdm@global.co.za

I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A 2002 VOLVO S60 T5 SE AUOTMATIC, AND THERE WAS NO VOLVO MANUAL IN THE CAR TO EXPLAIN THE WORKINGS OF THE INTERIOR SWITCHES ECT. WONDERING IF YOU CAN HELP ME AS TO WHERE I CAN GET ONE ?...

go tt www.volvocars.com select your region (ie United States). Go to sales&service and click on volvo owners info. you will have to register but all that is required is an email address. Put in your information about year and model car, you can click owners information and should be able to download a free copy of your owners manual. I had to do the same thing for my s60. I hope this information is helpful to you.

Drop arm bushes

the hardest part is removing the bolts most times they are so rusted i just cut them out with a torch and replace them with the new bushings. the cost of these bushings is nominal however have you checked the struts as well? the clonking noise could be them as well. please rate this......thanks
