Question about 2001 Mazda Protege
The overdrive light is flashing. In the owners manual it says there's an electrical problem to the transaxle. Do you have any idea what this could be and if it's some thing that can be fixed without being raped by the dealership?
There is an overdrive sensor located inside the transmission, you can goto any local garage and have it replaced fairly cheap or DIY by dropping the transmission pan and the sensor is located in plain sight, also the sensor is around 15-30$ through a parts store.

I just experience this flashing problem I had replace a 15a fuse inside in the fuse box I thought it was a spare I got it from the box under the hood when I replaced it the flashing stopped quick fix so if it still flashing change that lonely 15a under the hood in a 2001 ford expedition I wish I could post a pic
