If it is water and not coolant then perhaps your AC drain is clogged. You may have to slide under the car to see the drain. It will be on the firewall, probably just a piece of rubber tube pointed down. You can gently probe it or stick a wet/dry vac up to it to clear the clog. Report back if its a sweet smelling colored fluid with a slimey feel ( coolant) .

I have had this problem on my 2006 RAV 4 for about the past year. (Never observed the problem prior to this). I have taken it in several times for the 'fix' - purportedly a loose AC drainage tube. The last time I had it in, I asked if there was a permanent fix because I am concerned with the condition of the carpet at this point. Yesterday, again, there was water all over the front passenger floor board.....VERY frustrating! Any Suggestions to give the dealer to permanently fix this?

What is causing water to leak down onto the passenger side floorboard of my 2004 Mazda 6 wagon when I have AC on?

Feel the water and smell it. If it smells sweet and fells oily, is is coolant. If is isn't oily and has no real smell, it is water. There is a tray under the evaporator and heater cores that catches water/coolant and drains it via a tube thru the firewall to the outside of the car. This tube is probably clogged and needs purged. If you have coolant on the floor, you'll need to replace the heater core. If it is water, purging the hose will solve the problem as the water is just condensation from the AC coils

Water leaking onto passenger side floorboard, soaking the carpet

Your heater core has developed a leak - the wetness on the passenger side carpet is engine coolant
from a heater core leak, or a leak in one of the two hoses connected to the back of the heater core.
Your strategy: disassemble dash down to heater core, determine whether you'll need a new heater
core or new hose (or new hose clamp), then replace the offending part.

Water leaks onto the passenger floorboard during heavy rain

Floor plug or plugs have fallen out most likely. There Should be some plastic plugs under the floor board outside. Look to visualy check to insure they are still in one piece.

A busted heater core will flood the passenger side floorboard when the heat is turned on.

Water in floorboard replaced heater core still leaking water in passenger floorboard

check hose connections on the htr core, did you empty the heater core box? could be left over from the old leak you had.

Water leak on passenger floorboard also an ac problem

probably leaking heater core. you may have low coolant level now. the only place water comes in the cabin is for the heater, that has got to be it. the heater core can be bypassed (like my car's is) by simply cutting the hose that leads into the car and leave about a foot, make a big U out of it and plug the other side of the hose into the coolant passage that returns from the heater core and leads into the intake manifold. pretty easy you will need a knife, hose clamps, and common sense. the third one is a little harder to come by! :)

Fluid leaking onto the front passenger side floorboards.

2004 TB 60,000 miles. i was just told that the leaking fluid in my passenger side floorboard was do to a clogged up A/c hose. An A/C works by drying/ removing the moisture from the air inside the vehicle and cooling it. The accumulated fluid is usually evacuated under the vehicle which is what you see when people are stopped at a red light and there is dripping under their car. when a hose is blocked there is a vent that from some reason flows directly into the passenger side floor board. If you can not manually knock loose the block your probably going to have to take it to a mechanic.
