Where is the starting motor allocated on a Toyota estima emina 1992

the starter is normally located beside the engine block with the gear drive protruding into the transmission housing. If you cannot see it in the front of the engine it may be mounted in the rear of the engine. In most cases you can follow the large red wire from the battery... it will go to the starter.

How to remove motor mounts on a 1992 lincoln

Remove the starter motor with a ratchet and socket and then unplug any electrical connectors from sensors or components attached to the transmission. Remove the sensors and components with a ratchet and socket.
Remove the header-exhaust pipe with a breaker bar and socket, if you believe you will need more room to secure and maneuver the transmission out of the vehicle.
Unfasten the transmission to mount, mount to crossmember and crossmember to frame bolts with a ratchet, ratchet extension and socket. Detach any brackets from the bell housing or rear of the transmission housing with a ratchet and socket. Secure the transmission with a transmission jack and raise the transmission just enough to remove the mount and crossmember supporting the transmission.

Where is the starter located

The Starter is located at the rear end of the engine at the transmission bell housing, the front of the starter goes into the transmission bell housing, it will have a large cable going to it from the battery positive post and other small wires to the solenoid of the starter (mounted on starter). In may cases the starter is on the back side of the engine and you must raise the car off the ground and go under it to see the starter. If you do raise it ALWAYS USE SAFETY JACK STANDS!

Install starter

  • Open the hood and locate the starter attached to the transmission bell housing. To inspect and remove the starter, it may be necessary to work under the vehicle. Park the vehicle on a solid level surface and set the parking brake. If the vehicle needs to be lifted, support it with jack stands.
  • Disconnect the negative battery cable, wrap the cable end with a shop towel and place it away from the battery post.
  • Mark the starter electrical wires for installation reference. Remove the starter wires.
  • Remove the starter mounting bolts. Remove the starter.
  • Compare the new starter with the old one to verify that you have the correct part.
  • Using a flashlight, inspect the flywheel teeth (through the opening in the bell housing) while an assistant turns the engine over by hand. You should replace the flywheel if any teeth are missing, cracked, or chipped.
  • Install the new starter. Torque the mounting bolts to the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Attach the electrical wires to the new starter.
  • Reconnect the negative battery cable.
  • Start the vehicle to verify the repair.

2003 Nissan Altima 2.5 transmission

The 2.5 and the 3.5 transmissions are the same except for the side cover where the output gears are. The 3.5 uses thicker gears. They were made in Decherd Tn. Also the bell housing is different. The starter for the 3.5 is mounted in the bell housing and the starter for the 2.5 is mounted to the block.

Dodge ram50 1992 swap 2,4L to 2,6L

Greetings!

Yes, the engine mounts and bell housings are the same.
The swap should be straight forward, however be sure to swap all the vaccum controls and emission system from the 2.6L.

Have fun!
Cheers, Jay
