Question about 1992 Suzuki Swift
I have a 99 suzuki swift that stalls on me for no reason. On some days it does it maybe twice a day, and on other days it could happen about 10-15 times a day. when I come up to a stop sign or if I have to slow down, I push in the clutch and it just dies. Sometimes I could tell if it is about to stall, becouse it will sputter and the engine & oil light will flicker. The car does fire up right away but it might do it again.I also noticed that the car does idle a little low at operating temp.
Could be a sticking idle air control valve... a little cylinder on the side of your throttle body.. it helps control your idling air fuel ratio.. this goes bad could cause your problems... also easy for you to replace... normally 2 small bolts and a harness.. usually run about 35-85 dollars.. check price and if it's about 35 or so.. i'd go ahead and change it anyways.. 9 years it's probly due.. :D
