Question about 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD
2000 up GMC 2500HD - amber warning light for Low Fuel comes on intermittently along with the fuel gauge dropping below "E" as if gauge lost a connection. Noticed occurrence usually at a stop and corrects itself after vehicle starts moving down the road (ie. hitting 3rd-4th gear).
What is the problem and how can it be fixed?
Thanx in advance.
The fuel gauge and fuel pump is one assembly in the fuel tank. You will need to drop the fuel tank. May be a loose connection or faulty sending unit
