I assume that you have an automatic transmission, It sounds like your torque converter is the culprit here. The TC is what allows your tranny to be in gear, but not stall out the engine (you probably know this already). If your TC is "locked up" all of the time, it will cause the stallout that you describe.

Did you not learn how to drive. Park is for when your stopped. If you didnt destroy the internals or break the case. You may have destroyed the parking paw or the locking gear

I need help on a 1995 GMC Sierra

Look on the driver side of the truck and see if the shifter is on and see it came off and just put it back on. Ifif on than look at your steering colum and see if is ok there

My 1995 GMC 3500 parking lights keep blowing the fuse. I replaced the light switch/dimmer. not fixed.

Try replacing the relay. or check the ground throughout the wiring.

I have a 1995 GMC Sierra that will NOT go into gear, I was told there was a sensor and that you had to put your foot on the brake before starting and putting it into gear and the sensor must have gone out...

that sensor if bad is on the left side of trans linkage comes thru it it called mlps the wire melt togeather if u cant unplug it chance is wires & sensor start thear

Have the fuel pressure checked if it is weak,it will cause this .
