Question about 2003 Honda Element
Searched all forums on resetting the maintenance required light and read the user manual, did all the procedures, but the light still won't reset...please help:( ...Has anyone else had this problem??
Headlights have to be off. Baffled me for a few minutes, it was frustrating. Usually that should do the trick, even parking lights too.

The dealer has issued a technical service bulletin regarding the maintinace required lamp I belive it states all lights headlamps tail and side markers have to be off and the door must be closed in order for the reset to work. How to Reset
Press and hold the trip/reset button, turn the ignition switch ON , and continue to hold the button for more than 10 seconds. this should fix the problem if not the the daytime running lights will have to be disabled before it will reset.
