Question about 2003 Audi TT
I am by no means a car expert. My experience is based only on past experience not just with my 2003 audi tt but other cars as well.
What you describe may be your transmission slipping. You should have it checked out asap before you need to have the flywheel cut--I had that happen on another car and it was very expensive to have repaired.
My tt also has some brake problems which cause it to stutter when I get close to a full stop.
The best of all though is the recall of our cars for replacment of the timing belt--according to my dealer a $1700 job.

I'm having similar transmission issues, and was told both by a dealer and a cottman outlet that this model transmission cannot be repaired...only replaced at a cost of $7,000! Needless to say I am researching this further....anyone hear of this line?

I think this might be a simple case of cleaning the scavenge filter in the gearbox. I had the same problem with a 2.8 Quattro A4 (and a BMW 528) It is a quick job for you or a dealer to do, use an independant as they will remove, wash and replace the gause filter rather than charging for a new one.
