The reverse light switch is located on the transmission housing which is behind/under the air filter housing/battery on the 2.0 litre D turbo model. To replace it you will need to remove the top of the air filter housing and the filter (2 screws plus release the air intake pipe connected to it by a large jubillee clip, also unclip a couple of cables). To remove the switch disconnect the cable clipped to it. You will need a deep 22mm socket and a universal/flexible coupling to unscrew the switch (as access is poor unless you remove the battery compartment/air filter housing).

Quite easy. First you will need to take your airfilter off. You should be able to see it over to the left of the gearbox. I think its a 19mm deep socket, there are two wires coming out the top. Pull the conection off (can be a bit sticky) undo the sensor, there are different sizes so take it with you to the shop.

Where can i get fuel injectors for peogeot 307 2000cc hdi diesel car also can i get original ones reconditioned

any citroen/peogeot dealer (they are the same company)will be able to supply, on exchange, the injectors.if you are in Europe its easy, outside Eurpoe its best to email a dealer with the chassis no,so they can ship them to you.you may find them cheaper than buying them from a U.S.dealer.

My backup (revese) lights do not work on both sides. I suspect that the reverse switch could bd faulty. All the fuses are oaky. Where is this switch located?

BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH The back-up light switch is located at the upper left side of the transaxle case. The switch is screwed into the transaxle and serviced by replacement. No adjustment is possible.

Also, first try to replace the bulbs.

Also, if the above two solutions do not work, it could be a wiring problem.

All brake lights on my 307 have stopped working at once what could be the problem

Hi,

This is caused by one of two things.

1) Blown fuse - check the fuse box for the fuse that controls the brake circuit. Replace as necessary.

2) Bad brake switch - If the fuse is not blown this indicates a faulty brake switch on the brake pedal itself. This will need to be replaced.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I have a 2001 vw passat. my parking lights went out. all the fuses are ok. i installed a new light switch in the dash but the lights still dont work. the turn signals, stop lights, head lights and reverse...

disconnect the reverse gear switch located at the gearbox. It's a two pin Connector with two wires, one of them is BROWN, and th other BROWN with BLUE stripe along. Make a short connection between those two wires, easiest way is to do it by usin simple paper clip. Turn the ignition IGN to ON position. and check the reverse lights. If Lights are on, than you need to replace the switch that you just disconnected as it's faulty.

Update me about your progress and we'll solve this easily.

Good luck
