are you sure the battery is dead? what voltage do you have when the car is in the key on engine off mode? did you check your fuses? did you use a used battery to try to get it running? you can pull the battery and have it charged and checked at any other auto parts store, so do you have a new battery in it now??? er did this happen after you fixed it? im kinda not understanding your problem here, the dead battery or you alarm malfunction?>

Thanks a million for responding.I replaced the battery again and had to change not only the terminals but there was some build up on the wiring. Works like a dream now. Thanks again.

Battery went dead on car, car security system is in safe mode and want let car start, when you unlock the car alarm sounds and want do anything else, Battery has been replaced, can i reset the alarm if so...

Hello,

The new battery should have reactivated the alarm? If this is a keyless entry, than your original code should work?

If it doesn't than you need to call the dealer, or seervice provider for your alarm system there has to be a reset code, or a new one has to be provided?

I would try your normal code first! If it works, your good, if not, your going to be on the phone! No body but the place you purchased your vehicle from or the Alarm system provider can give you that answer!

Kind Regards!

if you didnt set the code your kinda screwed. it's a anti-theft idea once battery is disconnected (dead) or radio removed, you have to renter the correct code to work radio.

Battery is being drained by something, its new

2 things, not enought cold cranking amps, or while you where trying to start the car the brushs inside the starter caused a ark on the armature causing the starter not to be working at 100% option 1 have a drain test done or 2 replace the starter the drain test will show how much amps its taking to spin the starter if its pulling a high amount of amps/votage to spin the start then replace starter

Hazar warning light is blinking after changing battery

hi there do you know if there is an alarm fitted to this car and if so do you have the remote. if not you may have to get the alarm removed or put back into valet mode as this would have been how the alarm would have been set until the battery went flat and has now gone back to the default setting of the alarm.
