Question about 1996 Chevrolet K1500
No power from pcm to fuel pump relay, replaced pcm with used but same problem
Really need more info, but it could be a simple ground wire! Frankster016

Probably too late, but I had same problem. Chances are the fuel pump is fine. If you put a jumper across the fuel pump relay you can eliminate that being the problem (you'll hear it start up). For me it was related (and still is) to a loose connection in the wire harness. That's what makes this one so hard to diagnose.

I had the same thing! I had to replace 3 fuel pumps in 2 years. (Bought cheap-o from mexico!) Anyway I took the bed off to get to them every time well it appeared that 1 time I had pinched one of the wires leading to it and it then rubbed itself during normal driving and eventually shorted out. Look at the wiring. I think it cost me like 10 or 20 dollars to fix it. Good luck. Hope this helped.
