Get a Haynes manuel from advance auto-parts. I'm assuming you are able to get the screws loose to the dash, but the emergency flasher button is in the way. Don't try to remove it without first letting the steering column down, which is held up by 4 or 6 screws. Oh and make sure you disconnect the negative cable from the battery when dealing with the proximity to the air bag.

Can I switch a steering wheel and dash odometer with a 1998 Ford contour to a 1996 Ford contour?

No, sorry, the instrument cluster from 98 was different than the 96 model. 95-97 were similar. You will probably have better luck with the steering wheel, but be careful, it has to have the same options, ie: tilt or no tilt, cruise control, etc.

My 95 Isuzu trooper lights dont come on not sure where the fuse is located All other lights work like dash radio and cigarette lighter light Please help

There are two fuse boxes. one in the engine compartment, and one on the left side of the dash, to the left of the steering wheel. Both are covered by a plastic panel. The engine compartment one is black,a nd the interior one is the same color as teh rest of the trim.

How do I replace a turn signal switch on a 1989 Full Size Bronco, not a tilt wheel.

You will need to remove the steering wheel...using a steering wheel puller, or a harmonic balancer puller...the turn signal switch is under the steering wheel...unscrew hold downs, trace wire from turn signal switch to under the dash behind the brake pedal, disconnect the connector wire...re-install pulling wire up from floor to inside the steering wheel...sometimes tying the wire to another object, then pull through...hope this helps.

95 Taurus , how to I get to and replace the broken ignition actuator rod after I drop the column. If the steering wheel has to come off, how is this done with tilt steering

Little difference between tilt and regular for dropping a column. An actuator rod never breaks because it is steel. What makes you suspect?

Streering wheel will flop around 360d after the Tilt section, goodyear says clock spring, but cant find a clock spring in any manual I read. Truck is a 95 F150 Supercab 4wd 5.8l. Tilt, cruise, and a...

The "clock spring" is a slang term used to describe the round electrical contact below the steering wheel inside the steering column, that transfers the switch contacts in the steering wheel to the actual vehicle. Your problem is more than likely the bearing in the top half of the steering column. Disconnect the battery and remove the air bag and steering wheel nut, steering wheel, and electrical switches, then look at the mechanical bearings or bushings at the steering shaft and case unit, the problem should be visible at this point. Hope this helps, let me know.

On a 92 S-10 p/u, how do I remove the dash in order to repair dash lights that are out?

Well if there are no visible screws then it probibly snaps in.Not sure what year they started doing this but my 95 full size if you have a automatic trans set the parking brake and set the gear selector in L or 1 and grab the dash above the steering wheel and start pulling there and work your way around. My 85 S 15 had a dozen screws all around the out side of the dash so not sure.If you have tilt wheel you will need to lowe it all the way down. Well hope this helps and good luck.

98 durango- how to replace the headlight switch, there are two screws, where are they located? Thanks

you have to pull the dash trim plates off then everything will be very simple from there ,usually the trim is just held in with push clips tilt the steering wheel down and gently pull the trim away from the dash sometimes you have to pull the transmission lever down too for the extra room needed to remove the trim, just remember to put your foot on the brake and then back in park once the trim comes away,ps there might be screws in strange places in the ashtray under the pull out cup holders just look as you pull

Engine turns over but will not start

Hi there yep the switches are basically in the same location.Try the next time this happens to bump on the steering wheel while cranking or pushing in on the steering wheel towards the windshield if it starts right up you'll know for sure that its the switch or its out of ajustment.
