It's not leaking, it's burning it. Try adding an oil stabilizer, such as Lucas. Common among high mileage vehicles.

How much oil should normally be burnt on a Peugeot 207. 2007. 1.6 L auto. 5 door hatch if motor is in very good cond between oil changes (have done approx. 5000kms)

Anon, You really should look in your manual or contact manufacturer to find what is considered normal oil consumption. I have never owned a Peugeot, but have had numerous other makes, mostly domestics to USA and Canada and never had to add oil between changes at approx. 5000 Km.s before oil changes.

On my 95 safari van there is an oil leak on the line connection to the rad. The line come from the base of the oil filter. Is this an extra cooling system for the oil when the van is used for towing?

The two oil lines connected at the radiator normally are for transmission oil cooling either way there will be two lines one in one out.. If you are sure it's engine oil you can remove the line cap both connecting fittings.BE absolutely sure They are not to the transmission. Oil from the transmission is pink or smells bad when dirty.

My radiator is lossing water and no sign of leakage

great question, a nice symptoms posted.!!!! and car !
The water, (coolant) can only go 3 places.
1: on the ground, (or at passenger toes, look there)
2: into the inside of the engine (see engine oil turn to milk chocolate shake?
3: in the the A/T tranny pan, same thing same milk.
4: out the exhaust, pipe end point, see steam there ALL THE TIME?

this is short term loss.
long term is normal this is evaporation.
here are the tests.

1: no steam ,tail
2: no carbon or oil in rad neck (cold)
3: milk in pans. per above.
4: rad neck tester (green/blue) chem test unit finds exh. gasses in the rad.
5: same place, RAD leak down tester.
6: compression test. all cyl.
7: cylinder leak down tester can even show me here it leaks (ASK, this is advanced testing methods but easy to do)

Replace small hose and clamp, that hose come's from your transmission, goes through another tank in the radiator, to keep the transmission fluid cool, hope this was very helpful.

Coolant is burning & decreasing automatically almost 3-4 lts of collant is burning after traveling 100-150 KM in the radiator, no leakage nothing radiator is perfect.

You either have a bad head gasket or transmission cooler is leaking (internally).
Is coolant, engine oil or transmission oil milky?
Is whitish grey smoke comming out of tail pipe on start up?
If you answered YES to any of the above you have major engine problems.
Have the vehicle diagnosed asap don't want you to have to pay for a tow.

2006, bmw X5, high Oil loss ( about 1qt per 1000 miles), PCV tested, BMW indicates that it is a 5 on a scale of 6 which will then be replaced (3 is normal). What else could be causing the high oil...

oil sep not causing this issue, this would be caused by the crankcase valve both on 6 and 8 cyl,if you have a 6 the part is locaed below the intake behind the throttle, you must also remove the dip stick and clean out the drain on the stick,if you have a 8 cyl than you must rere the intake and repl the rear cover and oil drain, also this issue is more commonly found when temps are very cold.either way this should be replace to prevent furhter damages to the enigine.this should solve the oil consumption issue as long as there are no other leaks present
