Yeah, my check engine light is on and the engine will die at stops or misfires (jerks) during travel. A diagnostics was done and said that it was either: a defective camshaft sensor, connection or wiring to the sensor, timing belt/chain out of time, or cylinder misfiring (plugs, wires, coils). Boy! that really narrowed it down.

I have changed the plugs, plug wires, and coil block. Engine still once in gear and throttle is pressed engine misses and there is a slight back fire. No vaccum leaks have checked all areas. Replaced map and throttle placement sensor as well.

If you have changed the plugs and wires you need to do a cylinder balancetest and find out what cylinder is missing after you find out what cylinder is bad check compression if it is over 100 check your injector

I have a miss on my 2005 taurus is it my coil pack I have changed plugs and wires

If it is really missing, the check engine light should come back on.
The problem could be a coil, plug, injector, or mechanical problem such as a sticking valve or vac leak.

I have a 1995 Chevy S10 4.3L Engine. What would cause the engine to miss during acceleration??

Have you changed the spark plugs this year ?
Is the check engine light on ?
How's the cap rotor and wires ?
A miss under load is normal when one of the spark plugs is weak or they are not getting enough voltage from the coil. Also, a weak injector or problem with the fuel system can cause a miss.

Checked and cleaner EGR?. Misses all the time or just at idle, going down road? Have you tried pulling one plug wire off cap or plug at a time to see if you can isolate which cylinder it is, then work from there?
Don't forget, Insulated pliers or similar to pull those wires.
