Question about 1997 Buick Skylark
My 1997 Buick Skylark has 165,000 miles on it. It recently started running very strange. When cold it runs very rough (coughs and sputters). When hot, it runs extremely (dangerously) fast. It will do 45mph without touching the gas. Maf sensor and oxygen sensor have both been replaced. Check engine light only comes on intermitantly. Any ideas?
If both the MAF and 02 have been replaced, try the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) also check for vacuum leaks. the hoses that come out of the throttle body are very vulnerable to melt from heat.
