1991 Audi 90 Quattro 5 cylinder duel head over cam

Hello fellow Audi owners/experts! I recently purchased a new to me 1991 Audi 90 Quattro i am absolutely in love with this car but there are a few things wrong with it like.... the owner before me ran over a semi trailer hitch and put a huge hole in the main or big oil pan... this is my current problem... i found a used one in a junk yard its in great condition but after removing all the bolt we can see from the outside its still not free... this includes the bolt that goes into the transmission case first and then into the oil pan... is there some trick to getting it off? its loose theres nothing like a sealant still holding it there but its deffinatly not comming off PLEASE help!!!

Heatbolt torque settings for audi 2.8 v6 30 valve quattro 1998 sedan

I assume you mean "Cylinder Head Bolts".

Tighten bolts in two-step sequence (See diagram)
Step 1 = 44 Ft. Lbs (60 N.m)
Step 2 = Additional 1/2 turn

These are "torque-to-yield" bolts and NEW bolts must ALWAYS be used when the cylinder head bolts are removed.

Audi a4 quattro

a rubber one,should be changed at 50-60,000 miles. Audis recomendation is like 90,000 I think but have heard of them going much sooner than that. A preventitive Cam -timing belt job way cheaper than doing it after it breaks and ruins valves and cylinders!

1991 Audi 90 Quattro 5 cylinder duel head over cam oil pan

is the pan loose or tight? if it's loose, but won't come down, it could the oil sump hung up on the windage tray, the windage tray goes between the pan and the block, it has a hole in the tray for the oil sump to fit thru, the tray is to keep oil from splashing on the crank, hope this helps

1991 Audi 90 Quattro 5 cylinder duel head over cam oil pan

Good Day;
What you have to do is remove the 2 front sub-frame bolts, this allow clearance for the oil pan.
Torque for oil pan bolts 15 Ft. Lbs (20 N.m)

Hope this helps

Cheers
