2002 grand cherokee lmtd

In the morning when I start up my jeep after a rain it starts but then the head lights flash on and of and buzzers and bells go crazyand I turn on any thing the horn honks . I can drive it but looksand sounds pretty weird. After awhile I turn it off and back on there is a buzzing noise from the relay that is in back of the fuse panel on the driverside...I thnk it is a relay not sure. Then I turn off the jeep and my head lights won't go off even when I turn the switch off.So I have to undo the battery. And also the windows don't work at that point either. IS MY JEEP POSSESED????? Very weird Anyone out there had this problem????

Make sure the cover is properly installed on the fuse block. it has to be water gettin into something thats making it short out, look around at all your wiring and make sure its properly insulated (no bare wire)

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Liberty 3.7L. What would cause the headlights not to work?

Hello Joe

Not sure what you mean when you say "when I turn the lever loose"?

It sounds like the switch is faulty. If both headlights come on and then go off when you touch the lever, you know it isn't the bulbs, relays or fuses because they start off working.

I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V6 4.0 It has been dying on me without warning. I'll be driving and the next thing I know I'm coasting no engine very hard to steer. It may start back up...

Looked up part at autozone it's about 34.00...the sensor is on top of the bell housing a little hard to get to but can be done....$300 is a little steep in my opinion

I have a 2002 grand jeep cherokee and when i start my car my engine starts shaking and makes the whole car shake

do a self test on your Jeep's computer by turning the ignition key off-on,off-on,off-on ( on is when the dash lights are on, off is one click back). The codes will either flash out on your check engine light in pairs, 5-5 is the end of the test. or if you have a digital odometer the codes will display there. Report back with the codes to help identify any problems.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee (63,000 mi - V8) Check engine light indicates #1 cylinder misfiring. Spent $$ getting system flushed for carbon residue. Drove 3 weeks, started up, ran rough, and light came on...

The miss, does not just come and go,if it is a engine valve, replace the coil and boot,go from there,if this does not solve the problem, then the injector is gone out,or going out.If it is a engine valve, the miss would never get better, then worse,it would be the same all the time, get him to run a air compression test, get the valves up(close)and see if any air is detected threw the exhaust,or the intake,it will be present if the valve is the problem.

You say you changed the cam sensor. A1391 code is a crank sensor on the top of the trans. bell housing.
