04 ford f150 alarm problem

I have an 2004 ford f150. (its a factory alarm) heres my problem...this morning i tried to unlock the truck as usual, but this when i unarmed the truck it just started to chirp and it wouldnt stop. i tried to press unlock and lock hopefully that would do stop the chirping sound but it didnt. but i was able to start the truck up after i started the truck, same thing stills chirp. i can hear the relay clicking. so i decide to pull the fuse out. so now i have no horn. what is causing that problem? how can i get that chirping sound to turn off? thanks hardy

I had my battery change and now when I turn off the vehicle and lock it a few minutes latter the horn and the light start going off. WhaT can I do I have a 2004 ford f150 extended cab

It sounds like you have a factory security system. Even if it is aftermarket they sometime t need to be reset. First find out if the security system has a balance system. This will set off a horn or alarm if the vehicle is rocked or moved. If not, try resetting by unlocking all the doors with remote. Disconnect the negative cable and leave it off for a few minutes. Then reconnect it and start the engine, turn it off and lock the doors and wait. Beyond this I have nothing further

I want to bypass my 99 ford f150 alarm system

If you are talking about the PATS system, no way to do it. There is no factory alarm from Ford, if it is a Ford OEM system, it was added at the dealer. The 97 & 98 has a factory alarm system, but this was deleted after the introduction of PATS in 1999.

Program a new fob to my 2002 f150 supercrew lariat 5.4L remote lock/start system

if it is a ford remote or ford factory alarm remote cycle the key from off to run(usually 8 times) untill you hear door locks activate. at this exact time key needs to be in the on position.touch unlock or lock on all remotes being programmed and make sure door locks respond to remotes. then turn key off ending programming mode.then try your fobs they should work

Alarm goes off truck won't start.

sounds like you have an aftermarket alarm not factory most of these alarma are equipped with a starter interupt that will not vehicle start. when connecting the battery ist is normal for the alarm to sound some alarms may not sound if ignition is on while connecting battery, however this is not reccomended. after connecting battery and alarm sounds you should be able to turn it off with trasmitter, if you do not have one then you will need to put key in ignition turn it on and look under the dash for a valet switch or togle switch this may override the alarm and let car start if you cannot locate this you can alway locate the alarm box under dash and unplug it as last resort most alarm defaults will let the car start when this is done. hope this helps
