How do I find the acess code to the door? Theres like 6 numbers on the drivers door. Isnt the code located somewhere on the car?

May be WA433B/GJB but check this - paint code is usually located on the label on the driver's side door, but can also be on the options list located somewhere in the vehicle.

Look in your owners manual and see if it is written somewhere on there. Otherwise, there is not anywhere else on the car that will give you this code. I have heard that there is a PCM inside the drivers door that allegedly has it on there, but I have also heard that it isnt there as well. The dealer is probably about the only way to get that code

There is a possibility you can find the code. Ford has a habit of putting the code on a sticker (only vehicles with keypad) somewhere in the trunk or hatch area. Look around the edges of the hatch for a sticker with a set of numbers. There should be five numbers on the sticker. If you find a sticker with five numbers, punch those numbers in. If the doors unlock, then that is the code. However, if you do not see a sticker on the edge of the hatch, then the sticker is should be somewhere in the rear area. Let me know if you find the numbers.

look on the cover of the fuse box behind panel or on kick panel under dash on drivers side.call the dealer who sold it originally,if known,or a local ford dealer ,using the Vehicle Identification Number,they should be able to look up the original key code #.

I could not find this switch either, It is actually located in the door latch on the door jam. Switch is somewhere inside. Took my truck to mazda dealer and had it replaced. Anoying problem.

They are usually shown as a two digit number on the vehicle, such as PV or E8 .

the color code should be located on the drivers door on the are where your locking mechanism is located .

I had the same problem recently with a 2000 acura 3.2tl. I found the code on the bottom side of my hood. I read somewhere that it may be on the underside of the fuse box under the hood but it wasn't. There is a label on the underside of the hood just look for the 5 digit code that all the numbers are under 6 and that should be it, thats how mine was at least.
