Exact same thing is happening to me right now, it started every now and then and now my windows are stuck none of my window swithces work, when I unlick my doors they all unlock except my driver side door.

my windows dont roll down, i have to manually lock and unlock the drivers side front door the rest will work with the keyless entry and my mirrors dont work, hoping to find a cheaper solution then having the auto shop repair it i just need to know how hard it is to change the door module on this vehicle.

Other blogs suggested that the black ground wire going from the door to the body of the jeep is bad. I had the same problem, pulled the rubber boot back and found that the ground wire had frayed in two. spliced it back together and bingo. it is a pretty heafty wire but apparently not flexible to handle the constand open and close motion of the door. good luck.

Your right it was a broken wire. My symptoms were: 1 Dim dashboard light 2. No interior courtesy lights 3. Auto Headlights on/off failed they would manually operate with the column control manually. 4. No power mirrors 5. No local door lock unlock function had to use key fob Driver’s door would not lock all others worked with fob. 6. Now power window control. I read other posts and did the following. 1. Checked the interior fuses, OK. 2. Checked the #12 50 Amp fuse in the engine compartment fuse/relay box, OK. 3. Took the terminals off the battery for 20 minutes as one post suggested and reconnected no result. 3. Pulled the articulated rubber boot off the driver door Jamb and found a 14/16 gage largest of group Orange Wire with a White stripe snapped in half! 5. Disconnected Battery 6. Removed # 25 Torx screw from plastic cover behind interior fuse box so I could get a look at the wire bundle. 7. Took off rocker panel plastic cover (pulled and wiggle up it has clips and pins holding it. 8. Then removed 3 Philips screws from the tail of the cover to get it out of the way. 9 rotated the plastic clip holding the wire bundle toward the door to get some slack.. 10 Spliced the broken wire with #16 stranded automotive grade insulated wire using “Scotch Clips” . Reconnected battery and everything was OK. The hardest part was getting the rubber boot back on. Once I Figured out how to get the plastic housing loosened from the door by squeezing the clips alternately on the top and bottom of the fabrication I was able to re install the boot and push everything back into place with a snap. Took 90 minutes plus a trip to automotive store.

Pls start with checking the fuses.
The wires between the driver's door and the body are likely to get broken. If the fuses are ok, try to remove the boot near the door hinge. What you're looking for is a thick black wire which I heard many times is the culprit in such situations.

check the boot inside the door, lovely jeep engineers haven't figured out a way to make the wire able to withstand the moving parts yet. you have broken wire inside the boot in the door.

Could be the fuse, identify the fuse and with a fuse puller or a pair of needle-nose pliers, remove the fuse, if the wire in the fuse is broken, it's bad.

Power windows won t work

There are broken wires in the wiring harness between the frame and your driver's side door. These wires control all the windows and door locks in a 95 Jeep. Same thing happened to me. You will have to cut the rubber boot to get it off and check which wires are broken and repair them.
