Is there something I can do to stop a leak the size of a pin hole in my radiator. I drive a 2005 nissan altima

replace the radiator. none of that stuff works and causes more issues later anyway

older model altima need drive belt tension adjustment at 7500 miles intervals, the new models altimas has a automatic belt tensioner.i you hear noises belt tensioner could be failing.or could have leaking coolant getting on drive belt due to water pump gasket leaking or pump leaking.or alternator power steering pump could be failing many things will cause drive belt to make high squeak noises.

Best way to find a vacum leak is to start the engine and then spray Carb cleaner in the area you think the leak is in. then put the "tube" on the spray end of the carb spray so you can pin point the leak. The engine should speed up as the carb spray is sucked into the leak.

Not really. That is good stuff for pin or small holes. Once the seams come apart you need it re soldered. Now if this seam is very small in leakage....very very small it might get you by for a few days. Copper coat stop leak works the best.

Leaking head gasket. If a V6, replace both head gaskets.
Oil is seeping past gasket and getting into the coolant port holes.

check your radiator fluid, then if its low get a rad system pressure test done you may have a leak

i would check the antenna connections

The symptom you have described fits the one they have describe in the bulletin. Check with Nissan and see if your car falls within the campaign. Let men know how you do.

You can try yourself with JB Weld or take to a Radiator Shop and have it Repaired.

Do you hear a sloshing noise coming from your glove compartment? If so, they did not completely remove tha air pocket. I had the same problem. Jacked up the front of my car and started the motor. Removed the radiator cap while still cool, and topped of the coolant. Then as the motor warmed up, the air bubbled out of the radiator. Once the bubbling stopped, reinstalled the cap and all is good.
