Over heating hello,,i have nissan maxima 2001 in saudi arabia. It never get heated inside city with even airconditioner, probably the reason is we dont go continous travelling inside city.. but when i go long route,it gets heated after i travel about 100 miles or if it faces some climb(when the engine has to provide much force).I changed the radiator with new .I changed one thermostat. There is no water leak from radiator and there is no water boiling and water pressure when i check at heating time.Fan seem working all right,,,I have been to lots of workshops,,but no one still caught the problem,,..Any one got any idea about this problem??

Obviously in saudi it is really hot (been there for 14 years) are you in riyadh or jeddah?

there is a problem with your timing engine if the timing is out of adjustment it will generate more heat while running at a faster pace

dont just send this to a cheap repair ahop find one filipino mechanic...

cheers

Why don't you take out the thermostat, you are in a hot country. Also bleed the the radiator or if you have a bleed screw on top of one of your hose pipes,i think you have an air blockage.

My nissan maxima will not warm up inside when it is started and left to idle. will warm up if drove.

this is because your vehical is heated by hot coolant flowing through a small radiator the blower motor blows air through this and out your vents and gives u heat but unless you drive your vehical the coolant will not build heat for quite a period of time there for your interior will not warm up as quick

2001 nissan maxima overheating problem persists

It sounds like the the thermostat that was replaced is probably faulty. This being the cheapest and easiest to do I would start there. I can't reply about the air pockets. I have never heard of that before.

Navigation system at Yukon xl 2008 does not read the map DVD

I shipped my 2006 Yukon Denali from USA to Saudi Arabia. When I to purchase the Middle East map DVD for the navigation system. GM Navigation answered me that they do not have the middle east DVD and I should contact the European branch. The dealer in Saudi Arabia is asking for $1200 for the disc and I know it is worth no more than $400. Could you please direct me to someone who sells the 06 Denali navigation map DVD? Thanks..

Nissan maxima 2001 panic alarm goes off for no reason

Hello, I had the same problem with my 2001 Maxima. The dealer suggested new key fobs, but the eventual fix was the car battery. When the battery is on the way out, the voltage drop is enough to set it off, just as it would if there was a voltage spike when someone breaks in. I have no problems now!
