Question about 2004 Mini Cooper
I have a mini cooper 2004. I have almost 40k miles on it and while I was driving yesterday a warning light came on that I cannot find in the manual. It on the speedometer. The light is yellow/orange the the symbol is a hollow circle with three dashing on each side. Any idea what this means?
You're do for brake service. either the front or rear brake pads have worn down to
minimum. if when you apply the brakes you don't feel pulsation, just replace the brake pads and sensors and that will take care of the light.

If you have owned the car since new 40K miles is a lot on a set of brake pads, it could be. But to be sure, you might consider a faul code reader as found on the Mini Mania Website: http://new.minimania.com/web/Item/NME4020/InvDetail.cfm
