When I start the car I will get a message saying no key. I will turn the car off and remove intelligent key and then insert the key again and start the car and then it is fine. Why is it doing this?

Steering is in a bind were wireless key cannot activate. Move steering wheel to the left and right while trying to start. I had the same problem and this is what the Nissan dealership told me to do. I't worked like a dream.

Hopped this helped

My 07 maxima seems to get confused if my wife and I both have a sensor in our pockets and does the same thing sometimes.

crapie you are correct also if you have possibly two nissans with an intelligent key they will become confused of which signal to use. Also though the light is green possibly change the battery that is what mine was doing when it was almost dead!

My Intelligent Key Port is broken. What do I do? It will not charge my Intelligent Key.

The port doesn't charge it, it is only there for if your battery dies and then you can still start the car, you need to replace the battery in the fobs if they are low.

Car wont start.

Check the positive lead to the starter to see if it is loose. aaaaatighten it if it is loose. Check fuse to igniton, replace if necessary. Check battery cables and see if they are clean and tight to battery. If not, clean and tighten cables to battery.

My 2008 nissan maxima will not start. The key turns but no power or lights. I replaced the battery recently and had the alternator tested.

If you have no power for lights or the ignition, the problem is between the battery and the fuse box. There should be a maxi fuse of 100 amp or more that could be burned.
The headlights are on a different circuit to the key switch but everything runs thru the maxi fuses. You would need to take a test light or meter and trace the power and ground cables from the battery out.

My 2008 maxima is completely dead.. the intelligent key wasnt working so i switched the battery.. tried using the metal key to turn the ignition and that wont work.. its locked up and wont unlock.. nothing...

Have you checked the battery at all? you may have just left the lights on and flattened the battery. Try charging the system first, and check the underhood fuses. situated near the battery. Hope this helps.

When it is cold outside my key less entry does not work. I also can't start my car without having the key in the ignition. When I put the key in the ignition it will sometime still not start.

though the light is green for a good battery possibly change the battery that is what mine was doing when it was almost dead!

Also is there any snow on the ground? the sensor for the intelligent key is located on the bottom of the car and if it were to get caked up with debris or mudd the signal can easily be blocked out. but i bet you battery is the problem

I have a 2008 Nissan Rogue with the Intelligent Key keyless ignigition and entry system. Both of my keys appear to have dead batteries but I can't figure out how to open them to change the batttery

I also have a 2008 Nissan Rogue, and my intelligent keys quit working too. However, I do not believe it's the batteries, as one of my keys has never been used. I checked the fuses, but they are fine.

The intelligent key won't turn the light is green, the car is in park but they key won't turn. I used the physical key as well and it still won't turn

You may need to bipass the intelligent key to the ignition switch, or check your alternator, it made be ceasing and or your battery may be draining

This sounds like problem i had. Try to wiggle the steering wheel as you try to turn the key in the iginition. start lightly and if nothing works, wiggle it harder. This is the only solution that comes to mind...worked for me! sorry, Good Luck!
