I have a '92 Geo Storm 1.6 4 cyllinder. When cranked and idleing, runs smooth, but when throotle engine up it sounds like intake valve on number 4 cylinder tapping, could it be injector??? or what does anyone suggest???
You may have turned too many rmps and warped a piston which would cause the piston to actualy hit your valve, or while turning too many rpms you may have caused the valve to "float" which would mess it up

i cant understand that but got BAD idle.
there are different idle speeds, for hot ,warm and cold engine.
and the PCM (ECU) regulates idle with valve called ISC.
bad idle can be 1 of 2 things.
or engine runs so bad the ECU can NOT control idle.
clean the ISC, if not that
then its a big job, to find true cause. ASK !
one is finding air leaks.aka, vacuum leaks.
That is Inflatable Restraint light
Sensor failed, or something else in the airbag system.
The light is on because that system has detected a problem within the air bag system. Anything from an accident to a broken wire somewhere! This system is disabled as long as the light is on but the bag could still go off if the right sequence of events happens, just to be on the safe side, I would have the codes checked to see if it's something simple or not. These can have many pages and many year-to-year and model variations.
Check Haynes and Chilton for an aftermarket service manual for your car.
They are between ~$17-$30 and will earn their money back many times over and available online and at most any auto parts store.
