Remove the parking brake lever cover screws and loosen the brake cable locking nut.
Install 2, 8mm bolts into the brake drum holes and uniformly tighten each bolt. Tighten each bolt until the brake drum is removed from the vehicle. If there is difficulty in removing the drum, insert a small tool through the hole in the rear of the backing plate, and hold the automatic adjusting lever away from the adjuster. Using another narrow, flat tool at the same time, reduce the brake shoe adjuster by turning the adjusting wheel.
If the drum is difficult to pull off using the bolts mentioned above, the parking brake is most likely the cause and will have to be adjusted "IN" to prevent drum to shoe contact.
After you remove the tire, the drim should slide off. If it doesn't then try using a rubber mallet and gently tap on the outside edge as you pull on it. Sometimes you also need to tap on the drum in the center part. I have sprayed penetrating lubes like WD-40 or PB Blaster into the seam at the center. You may also have to back off the parking brake cable or even use the adjuster to back off the shoes.
I am assuming you are talking about a wheel lug stud. The lug studs are pressed in from the inner side of the drum or rotor or axle flange depending on how your vehicle is equipped. You have to remove the wheel and drum or rotor to get access to the back side. Drive the broken stud out from the front after you have removed the drum or rotor and set the new one in from the back and tap it into the hole until set as the rest are. If you cant get it set all the way you can finish setting it by pulling it into place when you tighten the lug nuts on reassembly. The part should be under $10.00
Buy a new stud. Make sure you purchase the right size. If you're not sure what size to get, wait until you remove the stud and take it with you to the store.
Check the area of the spare tire in the trunk for the jack and the jack tools since you'll need to raise the car to replace the wheel stud on your Focus. Be sure to block the tire diagonal to the jack.
Use the jack to raise the Focus. Remove the wheel Take off the caliper and either hang it by a mechanics wire or lay it up so it doesn't dangle by the brake line. Remove the rotor. If you're working on back wheels, you have to remove the emergency brake clip first. You could have drum brakes in the rear. If they're drum brakes, remove the drum.
Hunt for an opening behind the hub that allows you to remove the stud. Line the stud up with the hole. You may have to take off the hub and put it in a vise if you can't drive it out the back.
Hit the stud with a mallet and drive it out the back of the hub. Push another stud into the opening. This is tough work, but you only need to push it far enough to thread on a wheel bolt.
Put on a wheel bolt and begin to tighten it. As you do, the stud starts to pull through. Add more bolts as necessary until you seat the stud. Check in the back of the hub. When the head is flush with the stud, you seated it.
Remove the extra bolts and reassemble the parts that you took off to replace the wheel stud on the Ford Focus. Put the wheel back on the vehicle and tighten down the wheel nuts.
These drums should have a couple of small extra holes on about the same circle as the wheel studs which actually have thread in them for screwing in forcing bolts to pull the drum off. The thread should be M8*1.25 (a fairly standard Suzuki metric thread) and if 2 bolts are screwed in EVENLY (ie: half a turn each, alternately), then removal should be a piece of cake. Sometimes, light tapping at the other points between the other wheel studs may assist. Of course, if the drum is very badly worn, there will be a great deal of resistance to pulling the drums STRAIGHT off. I recommend SPINNING the drum while screwing the bolts in. This may be very hard to do, so replace all the wheel nuts (no wheel) so no thread damage will occur, and use a long bar across 2 protected studs to turn the axle. Then screw the bolts in a bit more, and turn the axle a bit more, and repeat. You will have to unscrew the wheel nuts a bit as the drum comes off.
The stud has to be hammered out if you don't have the tools to do this then I suggest you take it to a tire shop they don't charge much. depending if it's front wheel or rear wheel drive will determine what has to be done. If it's a rear axle they will remove the tire and drum and knock out the old one with a hammer and punch and replace it with a new one same size, they can hammer it back in our use washers to pull it into place this is the same on the front wheel. You will need to measure the bolt to get the right length and width. tire shop will have the stud you need.

You have to remove the tire/wheel assy. remove the brake drum, you will see the spindle with the bolts there. punch out the broken bolts install new buy pushing thru the hole.Find some regular nuts that will fit over the stud, put your new nuts on and tighten up till flush in back.

THE REAR DISC BRAKE WHEEL BEARINGS-you have to remove rear wheel -wheel speed sensor-brake caliper and rotor-rear axle hub bolts-tone the wheel with tool 09445-21000-carrier assembly-nut after unstaking it-press out the rear axle hub-remove the bearing inner race with tool 09445-21000-remove the bushings from the carrier with tools 09453-33000b and 09545-21100.to install -press in the bushings to the carrier with tools 09453-33000b and 09545-21100- press in the bearings to the hub with tool 09221-21000.tighten the flange nut to meet the concave portion of the spindle-press in the tone wheel with tool 09221-21000-torque the nut to 191 ft lbs -install the hub and bearing assembly to the backing plate and torque the bolts to 88 ft lbs-install the brake caliper and rotor.install the wheel speed sensor if equipped.install the rear wheel.TO BUY THE TOOLS TO DO THE JOB.LOOK UP KENT MOORE TOOLS ON INTERNET.
Pull adjusting lever cable upward, then release and ensure adjusting bolt rotates. If bolt does not rotate, check for improper installation of rear brakes.
Adjust strut to shortest possible length, then install drum.
Pull parking brake lever fully upward. Repeat process several times.
Remove drum, then check for proper clearance, Fig. 4. Clearance should be .024 inch. If clearance is not as specified, check parking brake system.
Install brake drum, then bleed and refill brake system.
Install wheel and tire assembly, then lower vehicle.
FRONT ROTORS & PADS
Remove cap and snap ring, Fig. 10, then remove cone washers with tapered punch.
Insert suitable length bolts into flange bolt holes, then tighten bolts evenly and remove flanges.
Remove free wheel hub cover and snap ring, then remove nut, spring washer and cone washer with suitable tapered punch.
Remove free wheel hub body and gasket.
Remove locknut, lock washer and adjusting nut.
Remove axle hub and brake disc as an assembly.
Remove oil seal and inner bearing from hub.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque adjusting nut to 43 ft. lbs., then back off nut. Torque nut to 18 ft. lbs. Using spring scale attached to hub bolt, check that preload is 1.4-12.6. Install lockwasher and locknut, if equipped. Torque locknut to 35 ft. lbs., and recheck preload. Secure lockwasher by bending one tab inward and one tab outward.
Raise and support front of vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
Remove clip and hole pins, Fig. 9.
Remove anti-rattle spring and shim(s) if equipped, then remove brake pads.
Lubricate caliper housing with suitable brake grease at pad contact points.
