Question about 1999 Ford Windstar

Where is the fuse located for the cigar lighter on 1999 windstar?

When i bought the van it did not come with an owners manual. I know where the fuse box is but they are not labled and was wondeeing if anyone knew what row or position this fuse would be without me pulling all of them out one by one. Thanks in advance-Sean

Your owners manual shows the fuse is in underhood fuse box, number 6--30 amp. If you don't have an owners manual you can go to, and look at your owners manual.

The charger that looks like a cigar lighter does no work could it be a fuse and what fuse is it ?

Open your owner manual and locate fuses. The diagram and chart will show you where the 'cigarette lighter' fuse is located, and what the value is.

The cigar lighter isn't working? Could it be a

nine times out of ten it's the fuse. fuse location's are in the owners manual. it could also be the heat element. 3 or 4 dollars at the parts store. also look under the dash behind the lighter if you can and check the wires

Fuse location for lighter 2003 f250

In the Passenger Compartment Fuse Panel, check the cavity 12 with 20Amp ( Cigar lighter / ODB II ) It's a MINIFUSE.

Also can review your 2003 Ford F250 - Owners Manual (page 179)

Cigarette lighter fuse location

for the most part its located on the driver side under the dash in the fuse panel if you do not have a owner manual try this website it for a owner manual online they have most cars& vans listed and if the fuse is good it could be the wire its bad on the back or the element if it is stop by the nearest salvage yard and take the hold thing out of another van also try this website to find the salvage yard closest to you its i hope i have been some help to you Michigan Man
