I have the same problem, It started about a month ago, the driver's side carpet was soaking wet. We removed and dried out the carpet but it continues. After much research online I found alot of people have the same problem. If you do a search online for consumer complaints on this vehicle, it should come up. Most people found that it wasn't the door seal, but a problem with the air conditioning unit, But beware one person pd 850.00 to have it fixed even though it turned out to be a grommet needed replacement , the part cost was only $9.18. we have not yet taken ours in. Hope this helps... Great vehicle other then that we've had ours since 2004.

water was leaking passenger side. So i followed other online post of unplugging drain line it the most ignorantly designed place known to man for a drain hole. Fixed on passenger side now driver side is soaked and drain line is clear. Not sure what problem is, and we haven't had rain for two weeks. Any suggestions? Would not buy another Mitsubishi again, this truck has every little kind of problem you can think of from check engine light constantly acting up to power window motors going out. Overall very disappointed with product.

Souns like a leak is allowing water into the cabin area, there may have been a leak in the firewall but it looks like it's coming in from somewhere else. Take a look at the rubber door seal in the drivers side door jam and check it for damage or possibile leak area's, if you find a leak here it can be sealed with silicone or you can replace the entire dorr seal. The only other possibility for the leak would be the seal around the windshield, also check this and seal with silicone if a leak is deteteced.

Hope this helps

Hi,
Looks like the drain pipe/tube from ur A/C blower housing is blocked and need to be cleaned out!
Look for that rubber tube, pull it out and use any flexible wire to clean out the molds and grimes!
hope that clears up everything!
Taaah!

HI I have a 2004 Mazda RX8 and I smell GAS coming from the rear drivers side. I can smell it when I am inside the car for a bit..it is most noticeable after I park the car. I checked the gas cap to make...

I had the same problem last year with my rx8, I smelt gas inside the cabin, and every time I parked in the garage it would smell strongly of gas. I tried injector cleaner and everything, but nothing helped. About 4 months after i started to notice the smell, one of my fuel injectors blew, I believe the small was coming from the crack in it, I would suggest you get you injectors checked, After the blow, I got it fixed, they rebuilt the injector for about $300 cad. and it runs great now,

Hoped this helps

Aircondition does not drain fould molding smell

yes the dealer has a special machine that sanitizes the AC system and kills the mold that causes the smell, the chemical they use is not approved for sale to the public so they must do the job.

2004 Endeavor A/C water leaking on passenger side floor

You may have to jack up the front passenger side frame enough to get underneath. Please use a jackstand. If you slide under the vehicle and look at the bottom section of the firewall you'll see an approximately 2 inch long by 3/4 inch diameter black rubber hose that is pinched at the end, that is your drain pinch it open and flick it with your finger a few times. If it is badly plugged get a pencil and push it around a bit. Thanks, Dana

Yes, I would replace it according to the owner's manual. Could be very expensive if it breaks.

Smell in my caravn

it may be a coolant leak in your heater core, but coolant has more of a sweet smell than a fishy one, and you would notice a dampness on the passenger side floormat. it is probably just a mold in the air filter of the blower motor and needs replaced
