If you smoke or eat in your vehical your smoke proble got in to it and messed up your hloe system. I suggest you getting a cd/dvd cleaner and try that. If it worked for me it should work for you to! Good Luck!

My brake light on my dash is constantly on

Look beneath the dash panel at brake pedal assembly. You should see the brake light switch, which completes a circuit to brake lights when you step on the brake pedal. Its likely this switch is malfunctioning. The circuit is closed (power to brake lights) when the brake pedal is not depressed. The circuit is suppose to be open (no power to brake lights) when your foot is off the brake pedal. Unplug the wire connector and unscrew to replace this brake light switch.

As for the knocking sound, is it when the vehicle is in motion? Or even when the vehicle is stopped and idling in park?07060338-db0d-4c14-8a08-ace846c99fb4.jpg

92 dodge dakota brake light abs light stuck on

ABOVE "Answers??" are only 1/2 correct ! Reason is:#1 doesn't help if you have 89-93 Dakota with ABS on REAR 2 wheels only. #2 is wrong BECAUSE ANY loss of brake fluid to rear leveling block sensor(located within frame above rear axle) will trigger cpu to keep abs light on=NOT electrical.#3 is worthless because it does not address brake fluid problem/air in system only(probably how to clear/read code by turning ignition switch). Answer=:Turn ignition key to just before start 3 times and wait a couple of sec for abs light to blink. Count # of blinks between pause and write down CODE ie 4 blinks=#4 pause 7 blinks=#7 the example code= 47. Look up code and read problem;CLEAR code by disconnect battery for 5 min to let cpu erase code. If spongy pedal or need fluid; bleed at all wheels PLUS at rear leveling block contained in frame(it has a small bleeder valve too and hard to get to!). If you have later models from 1995? with new system III you will need code reader/tester. P.S. If you have a parasitic electrical leak(battery goes down over 1-3 days) check fillament(sic) on rear bulbs. One could be broken and lay against other. Bulb will work most of time BUT WILL BE PARTIAL SHORT-therefore draining battery! Good luck-Rick

Washer fluid inop. CD plyr inop. 3 error messages. More

which wipers the headlight ones or the main ones?disconnect the motor and using a 12 volt fused power, see if the motor works,it sounds shorted.the cd sounds like the laser is burnt out and getting a changer and modulator for 200 is a cheap fix,or an i pod.they have a modulator that broadcasts on fm and they sound really good. the traction control can be triggered by a bad abs sensor as well.eemove the wheels and clean the sensors with brake clean.the tail light may look like it works, but the voltage could be low from a poor ground or a bad socket.since the differential voltage from the battery to the light is what triggers it,check the socket and grounds.i had exactly the same on a 325 bmw and it was a 2volt drop.the battery should not drain in 15 minutes.it may raed 12 volts but have reduced current from a bad cell.have the battery AVR tested
