I have a Mitsubishi Pajero iO 4G94 that cannot start. The engine has been overhauled and my mechanic said that the high pressure pump not working. How can I prove that?

you have to test them with a pressure gauge which is normally on the fuel rail on the engine. You can often hire the gauges from AutoZone. As regards to 'not working', you should be able to hear the pump when the ignition of switched off. Check the fuse and the relay if you suspect sabotage.

Pajero io 4g-93 engine .kindly help me ,the vehicle is running normal but once the engine check comes on , then the engine looses power even if u press the pedal down. Wat could cause that?

the check light is reporting a serious problem and the ecm goes into limp mode to protect it .
check oil , water and have the fault codes read to find the fault

Pajero io gdi 4G93 check engine light comes on when in drive and you apply breaks. This started after adding petrol injector cleaner in fuel tank. Please help.

You can try a fuel injector cleaner or flushing the system both available here at Presley's Service Centre and it may just turn off your Check Engine light. ... A faulty sensor will also make the Check Engine light turn on.

For check engine light on,its definitely error code stored in the cars computer.,Getting the error code scanned by OBD 1 scan too, is advisable.

Pajero io not accerarating

had same problem with my peugeot had it on computer told me injectors are fuel pump after a lot off work and money was catalic stuffed up with soot cut it off put a straight pipe on car back 2 normal check your cat?

Since your check engine light is turn on, some fault code is stored in your PCM (computer), I suggest scanned the PCM to know exactly what fault code is there; with this code number we could send additional details and tips to solve it.

Take ur car to mitsubishi dealer close to u and they will use DTC scanner to find the exact code then they will know from the code why the engine light is on
