Thanks Ronnieh 49 for the answer to my problem about 'Engine starting trouble'. I hope it will work.
May I know the location of the 'Crank shaft sensor'? I hope I'll be able to change it myself.

I got the 'Crank Sensor' replaced. No change.
So now, the battery + spark plugs + Fuel filter + crank shaft sensor is replaced but my problem remains the same.

what's the mileage. Catalytic convertors are probably clogged. Vehicle can't start until the pressure drops. That explains the wait time. If the vehicle has no guts when you stomp it. This is your problem.

Hakma,

It sounds to me like your starter is not engaging until you have tried it several times. This may be a sign that there is damage to the starter or the flywheel. When you crank have someone listen near the front of the vehicle. If you hears a grinding or jingling sound it may be that they are missing teeth on the flywheel or the sprocket inside your starter.

If you check this and that is not it please message back here and we'll try to help you further
Thanks
Dave

Car turns on shuts off 3 minutes later

If you mean the check engine light is on when the engine is running, I would start there and have the computer scanned for trouble codes.
Without knowing what is shutting down it will be tough to troubleshoot.
Could be a relay or coil or any number of other things.
If there are no codes in the computer, I would look for a failing relay. A sensor should set a code.

Passlock dont starter

The Passlock system is notorious for failing. There are 3 different parts of this system that can shut down the car and activate the Antitheft security system. The problem will be one of these 3 things. The key. the ignition lock cylinder, or the TDM. The easiest one is the key. The key will either have a small black chip in the key shaft or a transponder hidden in the key head. If there is a chip, they are known for wearing down and not reading correctly. Try wiggling it, cleaning the chip with alcohol, and taking all other keys off the key chain because it pulls on the key and causes problems. If you have no chip and instead a transponded key, (it will have a little "+" sign by the plastic) you can try performing a relearn procedure. It goes like this.

1. Perform a security system relearn.
2. Let the vehicle sit for more than 10 minutes with the key off.
3. Attempt to start the engine, leave the key in the run position monitoring the security system indicator.
4. After 10 minutes, the security indicator will change state.
5. Turn the key off and wait 10 seconds.
6. Attempt to start the engine. If the engine stalls, wait another 10 minutes with the key on.
7. After the second 10 minute timer has expired, turn the key off for 10 seconds.
8. Attempt to start the engine. If the engine stalls, wait another 10 minutes with the key on.
9. After the 3rd 10 minute timer has expired, shut the key off for 10 seconds.
10. The security system will relearn on the 4th starting attempt and the engine should start and run.
If that doesnt work, you will need to start replacing parts. Like i said, there are 3 parts. The key, the ignition lock cylinder, and the Theft Deterrent Module (TDM). all of these are involved in the Passlock system and could be responsible for shutting down the vehicle. And trust me they are all expensive. I always share this link for this problem because there is so much information on there and will be helpful no matter what you decide to do. If all else fails, there is PERMANENT FIX for this problem. You can bypass all aspects of the system and never worry again. That is also on this link.

I lost all power in a 2005 Trailblazer. Called GM and they said to kick the key forward and wait 10 min, and this would reset it. It did but now the radio A/C door locks and windows don't work. What...

Do it three times in a row.

9. After the 3rd 10 minute timer has expired, shut the key off for 10 seconds.
10. The security system will relearn on the 4th starting attempt and the engine should start and run.

Programing a key fob

If this doesnt work, you may have a failure in your system. If the security light is on, and the reprogram doesnt work, you might want to look into bypassing that antitheft system.

Take it back to where you got it and make them refund your purchase price. If they refuse and you finianced it go to them, There a law called "The Lemon Law" that makes it unlawful to sell something like that. Sounds like you sure bought one. Don't do anything to it just get hold of the place where you bought it and tell them to come get their junk out of your yard! dhgill1949

Fuel pump relay

If this happens every time you start your truck and it shuts off the same each time, you just might have a dirty fuel filter only allowing so much gas pass through until it clogs once again. I once had a chevy van, when I would drive it, would go a few miles and engine would shut down.   I would wait 10 or 15 minutes, it would start up and allow me to drive a few more miles then shut down again.  I changed the fuel filter, It was fine after that.
