Question about 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Steering / Susupension / '93 Jeep Grand Cherokee - 4.0 liter 6

My problem is with severe shacking above 80 kph. after a bump or difference in road surface. It was suggested I replace the " differential link bushings ". Can you forward me an exploded diagram of this linkage area and of the front axle assembly? I have a Haynes but it is not adequate. I have been searching on-line but no luck yet.
So far I have replaced ,,, the drag link,,,tie rod,,,steering dampener shock and all related joints. I am about to replace two worn torsion links and two shocks as well. What about axle bearings,,, re:- my request for the diagrams?

I bought this old horse for $700.00 and really like it, though it has it's quirks. It got me From Hamilton Ontario to Maryland, 15 minutes from Washington D.C. for $88.00 bucks in gas. Not bad these days! I'd like to solve this problem as I want to keep this old gal a while longer. Thanx!

Ive got a 94 jeep grand cherokee 4.0 liter i put a 93 4.0 liter and caint get it to fire but it has different distributor

i think you pretty much answered your own question there. Use the '94 distributor in the other engine and make sure that all the sensors are in place, connected and all for a 94. Also check the crank position sensor. If left in place during install, they can get damaged if the flywheel hits it. (hope you matched the flywheels too...if different, it will not run.

Need to know the plugwire placement in 1994 Jeep Cherokee

That vehicle came with three different engine options for that year, there was a 2.5 liter inline 4 cylinder engine, a 4.0 liter inline 6 cylinder engine, or a 5.2 liter V-8 engine. Here are the firing order diagrams for all three engines and one of them should help you to solve your problem.

Jeep cherokee cranks but no start

this is a fuel problem, fuel pump is bad, or fuel filter is clogged up. check to see if fuel pump is working. check fuses and relays if it does not work. to rule out a bad fuse or relay.

2000 jeep grand cherokee 4.0 liter engine timing belt replacement

If you have the same pulley arrangement that most 4.0 engines have that pulley is an idler not a tensioner. Your power steering pump has a pivot bolt, and a slide under the pump. You adjust belt tension using the pump.
