The alternator is not charging,or the battery wont take a charge. If all accessories work fine when its running after you've boosted it,its likely the battery.

Car wont start seems to be a security code that has prevented the car from starting whats youe dignosis its a 2003 chevy impala

Call a Chevy dealership, ask for service department. Tell them about it and ask what you have to do to get the code. Also if it is n9ot a code then they may be able to help you out by giving you some suggestions, other than bringing it in to them.

My 2003 chevy impala security is on and the car won't start.

Either the chip in the key has failed, or the sensor in the lock cylinder.
You can try a spare key to knock that off the list of possible causes.
Until the PASS module sees the right chip in the key, the car will not crank or start.

My wife has just rung me to say the car "died" as

Hey there. Still trying to get use to this new account. Your hot side battery wires, one leads to the alternator and the other leads straight to the starter motor. It is located on the bottom front of the engine. Make sure you disconnect the battery first. Before you change it, make sure the ground wire is grounded. It may be the issue. If it is, replace the starter motor.

2009 Impala won't start. First message "Service Battery Charging System" Then "Battery Saver Active" Now message reads "Service Traction Control."

turn on your car and remove the ground cable from the battery, if the car dies it's time for a new alternator, if not take your battery in to be checked. The other message(traction control) may be just due to a faulty battery/alternator.

Does this car have any electrical power? Check the 'Main' fuse in the box under the hood. It could also be listed at 'BATT' or 'ALT' fuse. If the car has no electrical power and you know the battery is good, make sure the cables aren't hooked up backwards. Try these things and let us know if it works.

My wifes car is stuck in park. It is a 2008 chevy impala

These cars have a shifter lock that is integrated with your brake pedal. The solenoid should release when your pedal is depressed.Check to make sure your fuses are good first.
