Question about 1993 Saturn SC1
I CHANGED THE BATTERY AND IT WOULDNT START AND IT MAKES A REALLY LOUD CLICKING SOUND NEXT TO THE E-BRAKE
If the vehicle draws lots of battery energy when the ignition switch is turned (the headlights dim as if the battery was week) and all you hear is a "tlock" or loud "click" then more than likely the starter solenoid is sticking (or bad). Age, as well as wear and tear in the vehicle, would cause for the starter, and the starter solenoid, to weaken. The noise might appear to come from around the E-Bake as the starter is located behind the engine, close to the center console. Check the starter relay first (inside the fuse box) by switching it with a similar realy, if that does not solve the problem more than likely you need to replace the starter.
