Your car should be equiped with a 3.2L OHC V6 the most common thing on these old Acura's was a broken timming belt, does the engine seam to crank very fast? if it does suppect the belt. you will need to remove the top covers on the engine and see if the camshafts are turning. i have included a diagram of the belt setup check the belt and get back with me, if it is the belt you will neeed to put the engine back into valve timing....talk to you soon

Will alternator off a 92 accord fit on a 92 acura legend

what a hard question... so many things to check
.internal reg, or PCM reg.
Amp output and physical fit. pulley size, type, and clocking. connector type, and pinout., to say the least.

i picked an autostore, at random , and it dont match.
not only that, you risk blowing your engine PCM using the wrong alt.
you never said which car was the donor, so can really answer fully.
my guess the legend.

the legend has an internal reg.
the accord is PCM controlled, a hopeless match
i looked this up, on alldata.com , schematics.

I need a radio code for my 92 acura legend vin

You have to do this: If you have jumped or replaced the battery at anytime this will happen. You have to get the serial number off the radio by removing it or partially taking it out to see the numbers on it try not to remove any cords. With the stereo out (to make sure you get the right number off of it) call an Acura dealership with the number and they will give you the another number to enter into the stereo and directions on how to punch the numbers in. Make sure while you have the stereo out you write the serial number down and keep it in a safe place also the number that the Acura dealership gives you because if you sell the car or if it happens again its easily accessible. Good Luck!
