Question about 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche
I know... Duhhh. Fine, but where is the fule filter located? Trying to fix a drivability problem and think it is related to the 3 recent out of gas episodes (the bloody fule gage has become undependable... but fun to watch)
Thinks for your time.
If it is the 1500 you will need a spec. tool to disconect fitting (j46363) it is under the body just fallow the fuel lines, there will be a bracket with a fuel composition sensor with a wiring loom with 3 encased wires by your driveshaft, you will have to remove those nuts and posision the sensor aside to get to the fuel filter, from the picture on mitchelondemand it looks to be next to the suspension bar going through the chassie, if this helped alot throw me some blue ; ) take care any other quesions let me know
