Year make and model ? Have you checked base fuel pressure hot and cold ?
Some of the components you replaced only adjust fuel mixture, while the MAF and TPS would directly affect acceleration. If any of the sensors were faulty you should have trouble codes. So fuel pressure and volume are often suspect. You could also use starting fluid sprayed into the intake to verify the problem is lack of fuel.

Kickback while cranking

I am assuming you have the vortech engine...but regardless it sounds like a fuel pressure regulator problem to me..i can guarantee that it isn't in the starter. Being as it's intermittent I would start by checking all of your vacuum lines and by buying some spray injector/throttle body spray and cleaning your throttle body..make sure that you clean your throttle plate..(the round plate that is in the body that opens w/ accelerator)..use a small brush and make sure you get as much carbon off of the inner and outer bore edges as possible..start there. The vortechs are known for their fuel pressure regulators going out though.

Car will crank but not start. Changed the fuel pump fuel filter blew out the fuel lines. Will start wth starter fluid but then will die. 1998 Toyota Corolla

take fuel line loose at motor, see if ur getting fuel to engine, have air flow meter checked, throttle position sensor checked, check the fuel pressure regulator also could be bad and not keeping fuel at motor.

Crank tolong before it start

First check your fuel pressure regulator by pulling the vacuum line off and check for fuel there should not be any. Then start the car and with a pressure gauge hooked up to fuel rail pull the vacuum line off the pressure should rise 5-10 psi if it does'nt replace regulator.Next check the fuel pressure it should be 41-47 with key on and engine off if not within specs replace fuel pump.

I have a 94 buick century it cranks but cut right off i change the fuel filter and the fuel pump is pumping, there is gas spraying out of the pressure value.i can keep it running by pressing on the gas but...

Need to pull the codes to see if the throttle position sensor is the problem,or maybe low fuel pressure, have the fuel pressure checked to make sure.

2000 chevy surburban 1500 will crank but no start. waited one day then started. Ran for a week. Stopped again. Waited one day no start. Waited three days started again. Any suggestions??

more than likely your fuel pump went out. it's in the tank. you can try spraying carb cleaner in your throttle body and have someone crank it. spray small amount of carb cleaner beware of backfire. do not acclerate while cranking. if vehicle turns on its your fuel pump
