LS RS SE S?, so be alil more descriptive with the no start issue, is it turning over, does it almost start, does it pop? does it turn over strong or slow? is there an alternator light on with key on? or when cranking? i would compresion check those sizzling cylinders =), but carry a voltmeter with you when you drive take down the battery voltage before you start your driving day, check voltage at the battery before starting and after and at the alternator, check fluid in battery, check resistance of the coil pack to make sure that isnt overheating if its close to the manifolds, so you dont have missfiring issues either? do you have spark when it doesnt want to start?

I had the same problem with my 93 rodeo. changed o2 sensor and a few other items which did not help. i knew a guy at a high performance shop and he worked on it and it runs fine now. he said he disconnected the "hot/cold" sensor. apparentley mine was stuck and was getting gas all the time flooding it out. by disconnecting the sensor i have no problems starting my car now but the mileage is a little bad.

I have a 2005 Nissan Hardbody 3.3l V6 4x4. In the morning, you start and drive for long hrs no issues. The problem starts after switching it off, and when its hot. It cuts off, you crank up until batt

Sounds like a "HOT SOAK" problem.
Starter gets hot,it lacks power to crank the engine.

Possible "Vapor lock".

Check for engine codes.Possible bad temp sensor for ECU.

If fuel delivery is suspect ,try starting fluid into intake when "no start" occurs to diagnose fuel problem.

1994 Bravada will not start after sitting idle for about 7 hrs

To clarify - are you saying it does not crank, or does not start ?
lt sounds like you are saying the engine will crank but not start, but then why would you need to jump the battery if that were true ?
If it cranks but does not start, have you checked fuel pressure with a gauge before and after cranking ? The fuel pressure could be low after sitting for a few hours if the check valve in the fuel pump is faulty.

Intermittent misfiring

Had the same thing. The didtributor was going bad. Lived with it for a few months finally it died. 1 year after replacing the distributor the problem started again. Glad I got a warranty on the distributor. Running great now on the second distributor.

Sounds like something is drawing power from the battery when you are not driving your car. Check interior lights, head lights, brake lights, aftermarket stereo or trailer wiring.

Starting 98 cadillac etc eldorado

ideal situation would be to test for either NO SPARK or NO FUEL at the given moment of no start,Sounds like an electrical intermittant, related to the spark, but what ? Without any failure codes, you have BE THERE, to catch it happen and test. Hope this helps

1998 s-10 2.2l intermittent hard start

because you said it sounds like timing problems i may have an idea. i dont remeber if these have a distributer? but its common for the distributer on the newer GM trucks and i dont know why but its like the spark jumps around inside causing incorrect firing order when trying to start and just gets worse and worse. remove and inspect for build on on rotor and tabs on distributer.

and get back to me with problem

Starting

Have the battery tested 1st, if that is ok then the problem is the starter solenoid contacts are burnt and causing a intermittent loss of connection which causes a no crank.
